Good to know
Do I need to know how to code?
No. Construct is built for people who never want to see code. You pick a chart or a template, paste or import your data, and export. Everything is point-and-click.
Can I use Construct just for charts?
Yes. Plenty of people only ever use the chart studio: pick a chart type, paste your numbers from a spreadsheet, style it, and export a PNG or PDF. Documents are there when you need them.
Where does my data go?
Nowhere. Construct draws your charts and documents on your own computer, in the desktop app or in your browser tab. Your spreadsheets are not uploaded to us.
Which spreadsheets can I use?
Excel (.xlsx) and CSV files, or rows you copy and paste from Excel, Google Sheets or Numbers. Columns are matched to your template automatically.
Is it a Mac or a Windows app?
Both, and it also runs in your browser. The desktop apps for macOS and Windows open and save files on your computer and work fully offline; the web app needs nothing installed.
